Managment Profile
Ben Nathanson
Ben has more than 25 years experience in helping Technology Industry businesses grow and develop. At Tek Elements, Ben focuses on helping key clients in their search for value in challenging markets.
In 2002 and 2003 Ben was responsible for Strategy Analytics Western Region consulting practice, where he focused on technology focused clients. Ben served as a senior internal Management Consultant for Oracle Corporation in 2000 and 2001, where he actively directed programs to improve the corporate customer focus. In that role he was required to input to three different MRDs.
In 1998, Ben founded Natmac Mondo Consultants in Singapore, focused on helping both local and international technology sector companies grow in the Asia Pacific marketplace. From 1995 to 1998, Ben was a Senior Director for Business Development at Elsag Bailey, SpA. In that role he was responsible for creating “disruptive“ Internet businesses in Asia and Italy. Prior to that, Ben was COO of BIS Strategic Decisions Southern Europe Business Unit, and Director of its Electronic Services Practice.
Ben holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Wales in the United Kingdom and a B.A. from McGill University in Canada.

Randy Salzman
Randy Salzman has held several leadership roles during his 18 years of high-tech experience. Having built sales teams and channel partnerships in both the US and abroad, Randy brings rich hands-on experience and expertise to client engagements.
Randy’s experience includes Sales Management and Sales roles at Giga Information Group (now Forrester Research), Guardent (now Verisign), FindLaw/Thomson, Lexis/Nexis and Aberdeen Group. In addition to leading Tek Elements’ sales efforts, Randy advises our clients on how to improve the “marketing to sales transfer” efforts, and heads the Tek Elements Go-To-Market practice. Randy is a qualified Solution Selling Coach.
Randy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and has completed graduate work in Business at Harvard University.
Edward Pugh
Ted Pugh has over 25 years experience in the field of technology markets and business consulting. At Tek Elements, Ted provides a perspective on key areas, as technical/business perspective to our assignments.
Ted has worked extensively with clients in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific as a technical and business consultant, specifying systems, evaluating market opportunities, matching technology to markets and advising on economic and business development. Ted operates at a tactical and strategic level, helping clients identify issues that will impact market horizons, technologies that will radically affect business opportunity, industry structure and support mechanisms for economic growth.
Ted holds an MBA from the University of Hertfordshire (UK) and a B.Sc. in Physics from London University (UK).
Susan Shor
A veteran researcher and editor, Susan brings over a dozen years of high tech experience to this project. She has served as an editor at The San Jose Mercury News, HP World Magazine and Salon.com. More recently she has done extensive consulting and writing work in the areas of Information Security, Open Source, CRM, Privacy and Entertainment.
Susan is a graduate of Boston University.
